ABOUT US

WAHC was established in 1986 with the expressed purpose of assisting low income families without access to affordable housing by providing opportunities and resources for low-income ownership. Over the years, WAHC has continued to serve low income families, but has refocused its efforts around the acquisition, rehabilitation and management of small to medium sized rental apartment buildings and multi-building apartment communities. WAHC believes its provision of good quality affordable rental housing is meeting a high priority and very serious housing need in Washtenaw County.

STAFF & BOARD

WAHC accomplishes its goals with two co-executive directors, a business manager, five employees and a very active and dedicated Board of Directors. Day to day property management is handled by RMC Management under contract with WAHC.
